Description

The Node 40-8 is a purpose designed regulator focused RF receiver that combines high performance spectrum monitoring with a rugged form factor at an affordable price.

The new Node 40-8 is a class-leading RF receiver with a 40MHz instantaneous bandwidth and 9KHz to 8GHz frequency range. It is designed to help regulators monitor and manage the ever-changing spectrum at a price that fits their budget.

Built from the ground up with regulators in mind, Node 40-8 delivers the essentials. With exceptional sensitivity, low power, low data back-haul requirements and packaged in a lightweight weatherproof rugged form, the Node40-8 delivers 24/7 365 spectrum vigilance.

The RFeye Node 40-8 uses the latest superheterodyne receiver technology to provide outstanding quality and performance. It is a complete spectrum monitoring and geolocation system designed for remote deployment in distributed networks both indoors and outdoors, including in hostile environments. Packaged in a compact, rugged and weatherproof housing, it has been optimized for size, weight and power (SWaP) and is simple to connect to power and network.

The Node 40-8 is characterized by outstanding noise figure, channel re-tune time and spurious free dynamic range parameters, well above any other product in its class. It also offers all of the multi-mission capability of the RFeye product range allowing multiple concurrent measurements and geolocations to be performed and multiple users to connect simultaneously from remote locations.

  • Low SWaP
  • Low noise
  • Rugged with optional IP67 covers
  • 9kHz – 8GHz
  • Ideal for Regulatory applications

Applications:

Rugged, Flexible Deployment

With its low Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) the 40-8 can be deployed where it is needed. It can be networked with other CRFS Nodes to provide spectrum monitoring and signal geolocation, both indoors and outdoors including remote hostile environments.
